Hello from us!

It's been a busy few months here at Fortune and Fame!

We've continued with our fundraising initiatives in aid of Velindre Cancer Centre.

In July, our author Jonathan and a few of our valued supporters climbed Pen Y Fan, the tallest mountain in South Wales. This challenge raised over £6,000 for Velindre; an incredible total. Thank you to everybody who donated!

We were delighted to receive well wishes from various TV and film stars such as Hollywood actor Rhys Ifans, Steffan Rhodri (Gavin & Stacey, Harry Potter) and a hilarious one from Mike Bubbins (Mammoth, Scrum V, The Socially Distant Sports Bar podcast) and Sian Gibson (Peter Kay's Car Share.) These were all enjoyed by a large, appreciative audience and can be found on our Facebook page.

Jonathan and our writer David Collins enjoyed attending a local school where they spoke to an enthusiastic group of students about literacy and our project. Thank you to the teachers and students at Willows High School for inviting us and being such a fabulous audience.

This month, we were thrilled to announce that we have signed a worldwide distribution deal with the multi award-winning company Big Finish Productions. That's right, Fortune and Fame is going global!

Big Finish will be releasing our audiobook through a number of platforms later on in the year.

Big Finish Productions are the world's largest independent producer of audio drama. Their titles include (but are not limited to,) Dr Who, Torchwood and Sherlock. We're tremendously excited to be joining such a fabulous line-up.

Our thanks are extended to actor and Britain's Got Talent 2023 finalist Travis George for narrating the book.

It's been so encouraging to see the love that's already been shown to our audiobook ahead of its' release. Thank you to everybody who has sent kind messages and comments so far!
