Reflections of 2024

As we celebrate a new year, we reflect on our adventures from 2024.

From the sky to the stars, here are a few highlights...

In March, we had the great pleasure of attending the BRIT Awards; sharing our charitable endeavours with stars of the show.

In May, our author Jonathan and his daughter Millie jumped out of a plane, raising several thousand pounds for Velindre Cancer Centre, celebrating his milestone 60th birthday. Several celebrities gave their endorsement and sent well wishes. These videos came from household names such as Lee Mack, Steffan Rhodri (Gavin & Stacey, Harry Potter,) The Chase's 'Dark Destroyer' Shaun Wallace, Eve Myles (Torchwood, Keeping Faith) and our friend & great supporter Rhod Gilbert.

During the summer, our co-writer David Collins continued spreading the good word across the pond on his journalism trip to California. He reported on the womens' 'soccer' international between USA and Wales along with mens' derby clash between LA Galaxy and LAFC.

It was also a delight to see Andy Cole (who wrote the foreword to F&F,) inducted into the Premier League Hall of Fame. He features alongside two former England captains John Terry and Rio Ferdinand. Eagle eyed readers will know that they were all clients of Jonathan's during their illustrious playing careers.

In the Autumn months, we had the great pleasure of attending the Grand Order of Water Rats annual ball.

Our good friend and supporter Johnny Mans is no stranger to the water rats. Assuming the Past Trap Guard position, he celebrates his decades long career as an agent and producer to stars of yesteryear including Sir Norman Wisdom, Sir Ken Dodd, Cilla Black, Jimmy Tarbuck, Des O'Connor and Sir Bruce Forsyth... not bad for a fellow former postie!

Johnny arranged with King Rat Richard Gauntlett a wonderful surprise on the evening among distinguished guests. The surprise saw Britain's Got Talent 2023 finalist Travis George take to the stage in what would be his most nerve wracking performance to date. The audience watched with pride and pleasure as he got on one knee and asked our own Millie Power to marry him. She said YES! Welcome to the family, Travis.

It was a wonderful way to draw the year to a close.

Wishing our friends and followers a happy & healthy 2025!
